"Global Business Studies" institution in Dubai hosted "Armenian Day" event

On November 14, the "Armenian Day" event was held at the "Global Business Studies" institution in Dubai, organized by local Armenian students, with the support of the director of the institution, Dr. Mohamed Bamatraf, and under the auspices of the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in Dubai. Among the esteemed guests of the event were Dr. Fadila Abdullah Al Muaini (Chairman of the UAE Journalists Association), Ayman Musabhan (a prominent TV presenter in the UAE), Dr. Mahmoud and Mohamed Salem (Sohail Partner/Association of Journalists), Dr. Parisa Shahverdi (UAE Business Development Council for G100 Women) as well as the faculty staff and students from different countries.

The students showcased the history of the Armenian nation and its rich cultural heritage, Armenian traditions, along with art, literature, music, dance and sport were in the heart of discussions. Guests were also delighted to enjoy traditional Armenian dishes.

Expressing his gratitude to the event organizers for representing Armenia at their educational centre and to the regional community, Consul General Artak Avetisyan emphasized the importance of seizing every opportunity to learn more about each other as well as to deepen communications between nations and to strengthen bilateral collaboration.

With the participation of students, parents and school management staff of various nationalities, the event was a true testament to unity and cultural appreciation.
