Meeting at Sharjah Consultative Council

On 28 November, 2024 - Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Dubai and Northern Emirates Artak Avetisyan visited the Sharjah Consultative Council and met with its Chairman, H.E. Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi.

During the meeting, the Consul General highlighted the close bonds of friendship between Sharjah and Armenia, rooted in mutual respect, cooperation, shared interests.

Consul General Artak Avetisyan and Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi explored opportunities to further enhance bilateral relations, focusing on collaboration in science, research, and education and investments in key sectors as tourism and the environment.

The Consul General introduced the Yerevan Dialogue forum and invited H.E. Dr. Abdullah Al Nuaimi to attend the second edition of the forum.

The meeting concluded with a tour of the Council’s Assembly hall and introductions to several of its members.

Several local periodicals have also covered the meeting between Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, the President of Sharjah's Advisory Council, and Artak Avetisyan, the Consul General of Armenia in Dubai.
